Boston U GLACIER Fellows Seek Presenters for Poster Session at AAG Meeting
GLACIER Fellows have organized a poster session, “Geospatial Technologies in the K‑12 Classroom,” for the Association of American Geographers (AAG) Annual Meeting, in New York City on February 24‑28, 2012. The session will highlight how geospatial data and tools used in higher education and scientific research can be incorporated into K-12 curricula. Topics include uses of GIS and remote sensing data, Google Earth functionality and layers, and GPS. Current and alumni Fellows are invited to join the BU Fellows at this session.
