The 2012 GK-12 annual meeting was a great success. More than 600 people attended, including almost 300 graduate students and 150 teachers.
Two awards were presented at the meeting:
- Outstanding Project Media Award to the University of Wyoming Science Posse and the University of Connecticut School of Engineering Ingenuity Incubators.
- Outstanding Project Website Award to Michigan Technology University GlobalWatershed and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Triple Helix.

Project Poster Session at the Hyatt Regency Hotel
Two project poster sessions were held at the meeting on Saturday, March 17.

Graduate Fellows STEM Research Poster Session at NSF
32 GK12 Fellows were selected to present abstracts about their STEM research on Friday, March 16, from Noon to 1:30pm in the Atrium at the National Science Foundation, located at 4201 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA.

Workshops at the GK-12 Meeting
More than 30 workshops were presented at the meeting in addition to a lesson/kit sharing session on Saturday afternoon.
